Our impact
Founded in 1939
The Co-op began with a simple goal: to bring electricity to rural communities in New Hampshire. Today, we have more than 71,000 members across 118 communities, powering homes, businesses and critical municipal and health care infrastructure.
In 2020, our mission evolved when our members asked us to deliver high-speed internet in the same way we brought electricity to rural New Hampshire. We launched NH Broadband which provides high-speed fiber internet access to those who have traditionally been unserved or underserved.
