NH Fish & Game’s Wildlife Steward Brian LaRoche will present “Restoring Brook Trout in NH” 

This presentation will provide attendees with information about the natural history of the Brook Trout, its habitat, the current state of NH’s native state freshwater species, research taking place, how information learned affects management and restoration efforts for Brook Trout in our state and region along with background on the Wildlife Restoration Programs that has made the work possible.

NH Fish &Game’s Wildlife Steward Brian LaRoche is a passionate lifelong conservationist who resides on Lake Winnisquam in Sanbornton, NH with his wife Joanne. The father of two grown sons and grandfather to 8-year-old Daxton and 6-year-old Macie Jo, LaRoche retired from a 40-year career in communications, technology and AI. In addition to his work as a Fish and Wildlife Steward, he also serves on the Sanbornton Conservation Commission, coordinates local “Trout in the Classroom Programs” and is the board of the Winnisquam Watershed Network where he focuses on conversation and education initiatives.
