What the Chamber does
We serve the municipalities and unincorporated places of Northern Coos County, New Hampshire and Northeast Essex County, Vermont. New Hampshire communities include Clarksville, Colebrook, Columbia, Dixville Notch, Errol, Millsfield, Pittsburg, Stewartstown, and Stratford. Vermont communities include Averill, Beecher Falls, Bloomfield, Canaan, Lemington, and Norton.

For businesses, we can provide information and connections that help you accomplish your goals such as resources and opportunities we receive from the Business and Industry Association, NH Employment Security, Coos Economic Development Corporation, Northern Forest Center and other organizations serving the North Country.
For the community and visitors, we provide information on businesses, news, and events in the community. Are you looking for a service or lodging? We can help with that too.
Events
We host events throughout the year. Check out the events calendar for more information on our events and others hosted by community groups and businesses in the area. Our signature events are our Annual Dinner held in late May, the North Country Moose Festival, always held the weekend before Labor Day, since 1991, and a Holiday Shop & Stroll on Colebrook’s Main Street. We occasionally host Business After Hours, networking opportunities and ribbon cuttings. Interested members may contact us for details.
Promotion
The Chamber of Commerce has created this comprehensive website which is a destination marketing effort to promote our region and provide local information to our community members and visitors. We offer a membership directory on our website, a printed GoNorth guide distributed throughout the region (including at state rest areas), a regional event calendar, promotion on Facebook, a space for member materials in our downtown Colebrook office, press releases in our local newspapers, and other opportunities that come our way. In addition we offer a Destination Marketing Program for lodging and restaurant businesses to participate in, to help boost our marketing budget. We are glad to help our members.
