SUMMARY:Community Clean Up
DESCRIPTION:Community members are invited to join Stratford Public School students and staff in a (Stratford) Community Clean Up Day on Friday\, May 15th.  Volunteer projects include cleaning the pavilion on the town common; litter pick up around the school\, common and park; and sprucing up garden beds at the school.  Students will enjoy a bagged lunch picnic at the pavilion by the Stratford Public Library and sweet treats from the Community Builders Hub.  They’ll get to cap off the day with playing at the new playground at the revitalized Backstreet River Recreational Park\, located behind Main Street. \nThis clean up effort will prepare the area for the following day’s festivities at the Grand Welcoming to the Revitalized Backstreet River Park.  If you’d like to sign up to volunteer\, please contact the school at 603-922-3387.  It is recommended to wear gloves.  The Hub will provide garden tools\, cleaning supplies and trash bags.  Participants will meet at the school at 9 a.m. to break up into groups.  All help is appreciated!
