We have an active Board of Directors who strive to find new ways to help our community thrive.

New Hampshire’s North Country and the northeastern corner of the Northeast Kingdom of VT comprise a vast landscape and we have the task of representing all of our towns, member businesses, and community partners across the broad expanse.

We are always seeking board members, member businesses and volunteers to represent the whole of our coverage area and help out with various tasks. The role of the board centers on the fundamental responsibilities of providing the organization with sound governance, fiduciary and strategic oversight and direction. Those interested in joining the board may contact the Chamber office.

Elizabeth Linden, Board President

Elizabeth moved permanently to the North Country in 2018 from Freedom, New Hampshire. She graduated from Plymouth State University in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and began her career with Bangor Savings Bank in 2018, starting in the call center. Through her dedication and leadership, she has since advanced into her current role as Branch Manager.

Elizabeth joined the Chamber because she values community involvement and is passionate about giving back and helping support the growth of this wonderful town. In 2024, Elizabeth and her husband welcomed their first child, and they look forward to continuing to grow their family and build roots within this community.

Zachary Brown, Vice President

Zach is a resident of Canaan and was born and raised in the North Country. He currently holds the position of Town Clerk and Treasurer for the Town of Canaan. Before Canaan, Zach worked at Solomon’s Store full time, in about every position imaginable. Zach still works at Solomon’s now part-time as a manager.

Zach’s love for the Chamber started the spring semester of his senior year in high school. He interned at the Chamber that semester, working closely with the executive director, office assistant, and board. Whether planning for the Moose Fest or helping members, Zach loved it all. He continued this internship for the following three summers. When the opportunity arose to join the board, Zach knew he wanted to take it.
